What makes Alpha different from other brands?
Alpha works with exact measurements of the customer and not standardized size charts.
Before I started Alpha the main issue I personally had once I started binding is not finding the right size. I was suggested to simply go up a size, which resulted in the chest binder not binding much at all.
Considering I would have to wait a long time before I was able to get my mastectomy I refused to feel miserable wearing a binder that barely fits and made me feel uncomfortable, I started to construct my own. After making countless prototypes and material tests I had the perfect one and decided I wanted to share this by creating Alpha Shapewear.
Because no matter your size you should have to be able to get a binder, knowing you have the best compression you will be able to achieve, while feeling comfortable and by extension feel more comfortable in your own skin.
What if my binder does not fit?
If you are unhappy with the size and fit of your binder, contact me through email and describe the issue. More information on returns can be found here.
How long will it take for my order to get delivered?
Once your order has been placed it can take 5 to 10 working days for it to be made and ready for shipment. Actual shipping time depends on where you live. Once you receive your shipping confirmation email you can follow your order with a tracking number.
What does my shipment look like?
Your order is packaged in a white envelope. The shipping label has no mention of the company name or its contents. If any legal documents have to be added, it will label the contents as ‘clothing’.
Is it possible to work-out or swim with a chest binder?
Probably not a good idea. Wearing a binder you have to be able to breathe normally. But while working out you need to be able to breathe more than normal and it can start to feel restricted.
Regarding recreational swimming in a pool with chlorine, it would really reduce the life span of a binder because chlorine is very harmful for the fabric. I would advise not to. Swimming outdoors should be ok.
